It groups similar-looking photos right from the start, displaying them as a single thumbnail image, so you only have to add a name to the group, not every photo within it.Īnd, as you add more and more pictures to the 'Named' panel, Lightroom gets smarter at recognising the same people in the 'Unnamed' panel, so that by the time you get to them you only have to agree with Lightroom's suggestion – or, if necessary, type in a different name.
